Human Ecology and the Urban Environment

How do we make sense of all that babble on health information you hear on the morning news shows?
What impact does pollution in the rivers, in the air – and in our homes – really have on our health?
How do we reshape our cities to make them healthier places that support a high quality of life?

Dr. Julie Becker, Founder, Women’s Health & Environmental Network (WHEN) will address topics specific to the Delaware Valley, and Dr. Howard Frumkin, MD, MPH, DrPH, and Director, National Center for Environmental Health will discuss important points concerning the relationship between human and environmental health on a national scale.

Contribute to the conversation and learn more at the Academy of Natural Sciences, 1900 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia PA 19103. Doors open at 5:30 PM, program begins at 6:30 PM. RSVPs are requested to Roland Wall at the Academy.
